Home Theater Master®
MX-1000
Customizable LCD Touchscreen
Remote
Control with Joystick Operation
The last remote control that you will ever need to
purchase!
Capable of operating up to 12 audio
and/or video components, this preprogrammed and learning remote
control is designed with total customization in mind. Many of the
commands are accessed directly from the device buttons located on
the brightly lit LCD touchscreen. The MX-1000
features 50 customizable LCD touchscreen pages, of which both the
text, and size/shape of the buttons can be modified according to
individual preference.
The MX-1000 remote control can't become
obsolete - as technology advances, so does the remote
control!
Included, as a standard accessory with the
remote control is an RS-232C PC interlink cable. This interface
connection makes it possible to completely program the set-up,
operation and design of the MX-1000 directly from
your PC, as well as upload data to your PC for program archiving.
In addition, we periodically update the MX-1000's
Operating Program (software), which can be downloaded from our
website, to your PC and into the remote control. This connection
makes it possible to download new audio and video component codes
as they become available from their respective manufacturers.
Basic set-up of the remote can be fast and
easy
The remote boasts a built-in preprogrammed
database of over 1,000 audio and video component codes, and is
also fully capable of learning your home theater system's
audio/video components remote control codes (up to 780 functions).
For those households that require more than one remote control,
the MX-1000 can easily be cloned via infrared from
another programmed MX-1000. It's that simple!
Ease-of-use
The MX-1000 is
ergonomically designed and weight balanced to fit comfortably in
one hand. The brightly backlit LCD touchscreen and buttons make
navigation within a darkened home theater environment a breeze. To
further enhance the navigation of the remote control, we have
incorporated a multi-directional joystick.
Additional creature comforts
The
MX-1000 Punch Through feature enables control of one
component while the remote is actually in another component mode.
For example, you can adjust the volume of the amplifier while
actually in the DVD mode, eliminating the need to toggle
back-and-forth from the DVD screen to the amplifier screen.
The macro feature allows the remote control to be programmed to
send out multiple commands at once. The unit has 3 macro buttons
that allow the unit to send out up to 28 commands each, 12 device
buttons that send out 14 commands each, and 60 favorite channel
buttons that send out up to 12 commands each. For example, the
MX-1000 can be programmed to turn on all the
components within the home theater system at just the touch of a
button!
The MX-1000 also incorporates a memory back-up
system designed to prevent memory loss for up to one year, should
the batteries be removed.
